Welcome Aboard
Two new people.
One shared rhythm.
Cadence Wellness is growing. We're proud to welcome clinician Azariah Bowden and coach Charles Pomeroy to the team, expanding what we can offer the people who carry responsibility for others.
More capacity to meet people where they are.
Cadence was built for veterans, first responders, athletes, clinicians, and high-stress professionals. Many of them have spent years adapting to pressure. They keep functioning on the outside while their systems quietly ask for help.
Growing our team means shorter waits, more ways to connect, and more depth in the work we do. That now includes counseling and coaching, alongside nervous system recovery, movement, and community. Every person who joins Cadence works from the same belief: humans don't break, they lose rhythm. Our job is to help restore it.
Clinician
Azariah Bowden
LPC-A · EdM, Counseling with Sport Psychology
Full-time clinician · In person & telehealthAzariah joins Cadence as a full-time clinician, bringing training in counseling and sport psychology from Boston University. Her work sits right where Cadence lives: the connection between what we carry mentally and what our bodies hold on to.
Her approach brings together attachment-based and somatic therapy. Sessions make room for conversation and for the body, through movement, sensory awareness, and nervous system regulation. She also draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, person-centered, psychodynamic, and strength-based work, all within a trauma-informed frame.
In practice, Azariah uses the Cadence Rhythm, Capacity, Agency (RCA) framework to guide the work. The focus is regulating the nervous system, building the capacity to handle stress, and developing a clearer sense of direction and control. She tailors each step to the person in front of her.
Azariah works well with people who are adjusting to a new chapter, feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, or trying to understand how they got here. You don't need the right words to start. She meets people where they are.

Principal Coach
Charles Pomeroy
The Integrative Coach℠ · Certified Mindset & Wellness Coach
Individuals · Teams & organizationsCharles joins Cadence as Principal Coach. He brings a combination of experience that rarely shows up in one person: U.S. Army combat medic, years of direct work in residential mental health services, formal coaching training through ICF-accredited programs, and a long career in business operations, organizational development, and community leadership.
The common thread across all of it is the same. Understand what's really going on underneath a hard situation, recognize the patterns that keep it in place, and help people and systems work better.
His coaching is trauma-aware, clinically informed, and aligned with how the nervous system actually works. It doesn't rely on positive thinking or willpower alone. Charles helps people get curious about how they respond under pressure, build emotional regulation, and practice new ways of handling what life puts in front of them. He's calm under pressure, practical, and direct, without judgment.
The goal is not just to understand a challenge. It's to build the awareness, confidence, and skills to do something about it, one consistent step at a time.
